A new article from WCCFTech suggests that Red Dead Redemption 2 may not be the only AAA Western themed video game to be released this year, as Far Cry 5 is rumoured to feature a Spaghetti Western setting.
WCCFTech notes a recent report from Great Falls Tribune about a local church in north-eastern Montana that will be featured in promotion for a video game due for release in September, a game many thought was the aforementioned Red Dead Redemption 2.
However, the article also reveals that producer Jeff Guillot was involved in filming the footage for the game.
Guillot previously worked on the live action trailer for Far Cry Primal, which has led to a number of online commentators to speculate that the game in question will be Far Cry’s take on the Wild West.
